It's awards season, and for the first time I'm checking out a video game awards show. Even though this happened back in December, I wanted to see what it was like. The Game Awards. Come on bring it. I had roller derby practice yesterday, NSO'd at scrimmage today, and ended up spending 1.5 hours on skates afterwards. Despite this, this weekend is the first weekend in ages to feel like a proper weekend. I've been so busy with events and plans lately, I feel I really needed to just chill at home. It's been great.

I finally sat down to watch Mad Max: Fury Road. Excited because of the hype, intrigued to see how they'd transformed the weird (and borderline boring) franchise into something the tumblr generation would enjoy.
